Atlas Aus is focused on improving the knowledge around unsealed roads but using a fully automated system to analyse the condition.
Western Australia moves on dirt. Of the state’s 127,000 plus kilometres of local government roads, just one lane in three is sealed. The rest is about 86,000km of raw gravel that must bear the weight of essential and public vehicles.
If there is not visual understanding of the conditions of these networks, maintenance plans and budgets are rendered obsolete.
Atlas Aus is working to produce the latest in unsealed road technology using cutting edge technology and software.
Our team
Dean and Miguel bring complementary strengths in both mechanical and mining engineering, with years of experience in field surveying and preliminary studies.
